Imagine waking up to a newsfeed made by AI that exactly fits your biases, having a virtual assistant write your emails before you finish your thoughts, and using an algorithm to make your social interactions better. This isn’t a dystopian story; it’s 2025. AI has become a part of everyday life, changing not only what we do but also how we think and see the world. As AI becomes our constant companion, friend, and curator, deep issues come up: Is it making people better, or is it slowly destroying the whole basis of consciousness?

The Present: Changes in the Mind in the Age of AI
